A fresh new fashion platform for Chicago, together with my SAIC colleagues Nick Cave, Shane Gabier, Katrin Schnabl. Our first presentation took place in October 2007 at the Chicago Center for Tourism. 4LINES’ mission is to provide a platform to examine the work of four fashion designers who parallel as artists in their conceptual approaches, and to pinpoint the interrelationship between art and fashion design more fully within the discourse of contemporary culture.
